New privacy pods help attorneys and clients with a quiet place for private conversations.

The city of South Euclid in Cuyahoga County has introduced a new feature inside City Hall: privacy pods designed to provide quiet, enclosed spaces for staff members and the local legal community. These pods offer a convenient way to hold confidential conversations, conduct private meetings, or simply work in a calm environment away from the daily hustle and bustle of the building.

The pods offer attorneys a place to have private conversations with clients close to the municipal court. The space also allows for separation between victims and defendants before court proceedings, such as in domestic violence cases.

Currently, there are two pods available for reservation. One is a larger unit that comfortably accommodates 4–6 people, making it ideal for team meetings or collaborative discussions. The other is a single-person pod, perfect for focused work or sensitive phone calls. Both pods are equipped with sound-dampening features to ensure conversations remain private.

“They’ve been well-received by staff and provide a much-needed functional element without disrupting the overall flow of the building,” said Executive Assistant Lee Williams. The pods blend seamlessly into the existing layout, offering modern functionality without compromising the building’s design.

This initiative reflects the city’s commitment to creating a productive and supportive work environment, ensuring privacy for attorneys and clients, and offering flexibility to meet professional needs.
