The Supreme Court of Ohio celebrates the one-year anniversary of its Women in Law exhibit, a lasting tribute to the extraordinary women who have shaped Ohio's legal history and inspired future generations of lawyers. Since opening at the Visitor Education Center of the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center, the exhibit has welcomed visitors from across the state, sharing the stories of trailblazers who transformed Ohio's legal system.

Over the past year, the exhibit has served as a source of inspiration for students and members of the public. It highlights the achievements of women who broke barriers and opened doors for those who followed.

The exhibit recognizes several former Justices of the Supreme Court of Ohio, whose contributions have left an indelible mark on the state's legal landscape.

Visitors learn not only about the women justices who made their mark on the Supreme Court, but also about the first women admitted to the bar, those first elected to local judgeships, and those who rose to the highest positions in Ohio and national offices.

The Women in Law exhibit is part of the Court's America 250 celebration, highlighting pioneering women who have contributed to the nation's evolving justice system. Made possible through a grant from the Ohio State Bar Foundation, the exhibit joins many other educational displays in the Visitor Education Center. Together, these exhibits offer visitors a rich understanding of the people and principles that have defined Ohio's legal history.
