Governor Appoints Springboro Attorney to Warren County Court

Governor John R. Kasich has announced the appointment of Gary A. Loxley of Springboro (Warren County) to serve as a judge on the Warren County Court.

Loxley will assume office on May 6, 2013, and must run in November 2014 to retain the seat for the unexpired term, which ends December 31, 2016. Loxley is replacing Donald E. Oda, II, who was elected to the Warren County General Division.

Loxley received a bachelor of arts in political science from Miami University, a masters of science in strategic studies from the United States Army War College, and earned his juris doctorate from the Claude W. Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University. Since 2006, he has worked as the assistant prosecuting attorney, Civil Division, for the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

Loxley is a member of the Warren County Bar Association, and is a life member of the Reserve Officers Association. As a member of the United States Army Reserve, he is currently serving as the sole legal advisor to the Commanding General, headquarters staff, and 28 subordinate commanders in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
