The Ohio Supreme Court will hear oral arguments remotely tomorrow and Wednesday.

The Ohio Supreme Court will hold oral arguments April 28 and April 29 using videoconferencing in light of the public health emergency caused by the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Justices will participate from their individual chambers at the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center. The traditional Courtroom will not be used for these sessions while social distancing directives are in effect.

Attorneys arguing cases also will be presenting their cases remotely.

The public can watch the proceedings as they are livestreamed on the Ohio Channel and the Court’s website starting at 9 a.m. on April 28 and 29. The public can also watch proceedings on YouTube at the following links: April 28 and April 29.

“We continue to operate in accordance with the Director of Health’s directives while continuing to provide justice for the citizens of Ohio,” said Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor. “The Supreme Court’s operations remain essential as we review cases from counties throughout Ohio.”
